There’s no greater treat for children than a holiday on a South Tyrolean farm! Here at Wieserhof, they can help us out in the stables, romp around the farmyard, make friends with our cuddly animals and explore nature to their heart’s content.
Playing out in nature
It’s like a natural playground: our garden with playhouse, mud kitchen, sandpit, wooden seesaw, swing and ramp is perfect for playing and running riot. We also have an indoor playroom with board games, table football and reading material for when the weather isn’t great. Time flies when you’re… here at Wieserhof!
Hydrotherapy & barefoot course
A place where you can feel the earth under your feet, dip them in and out of the cold water, and learn about medicinal and wild herbs. Take a walk along the Almenkneippweg trail in the Altfasstal valley and experience the power of water and nature!
Grilling in the greenery
If you fancy a barbecue, head to our hut in the garden! It can accommodate up to 10 people and you are welcome to hire it – in every season. If you wish, we can also get you a barbecue package from the village butcher with products of your choice.
For budding farmers
Our small farm animals and calves are super sweet and lovely to look at. If you like, you can also feed them and help us with stable work. Who’s game?
Our old Stube
We put a lot of loving care into renovating our old Stube (farmhouse parlour) to give you a cosy place to spend your evenings – perhaps playing games with friends and family, or making new acquaintances and enjoying a chat over a cold beer. Right opposite the Stube is the children’s playroom – a fun package for young and old!

The Gitschberg Jochtal Ski and Holiday Area is a bona fide outdoor paradise, all year round. In winter, it’s a family-friendly ski resort with fantastic slopes – which you can access straight from your apartment! In summer, you can look forward to a wealth of walking and hiking paths right on our doorstep. Also, don’t miss the highlight: a leisurely hike through the idyllic Altfasstal valley will lead you to Wieserhütte, our Alpine hut.
