Highlights
3 highlights for your walking holiday in the Gitschberg area
The Seefeld lakes
A real idyll tucked away in nature! After a steep but panoramic climb up to 2,260 metres, you are rewarded with a chance to relax on the shores of the large Seefeld lake as your gaze wanders over the picturesque Altfasstal valley. The middle and smaller Seefeld lakes are located a little higher up on our high Alpine pasture.
The Altfasstal valley
Choose one of the leisurely trails leading through the unspoilt Altfasstal valley into the Pfunderer mountains, along babbling brooks and across lush Alpine meadows. Some of them are pram and bike-friendly, making it a wonderful destination for the whole family.
The Gitschberg Sun Park
A children’s paradise with a climbing igloo, sun throne, giant slide, sun telephone and more. This adventure park located right next to the Nesselbahn mountain station is pram-friendly.
Our Wieserhütte
Our Wieserhütte is idyllically located in the Altfasstal valley and is a popular destination for hikers, connoisseurs, and families. On the sun terrace, we serve homemade specialties and alpine cheese from our own production.
Cycling in the mountains
Ride an e-bike along wide forest paths or get your adrenaline fix on challenging mountain trails… or would you rather take a valley cycle path and pedal your way to Brixen or Bruneck? You can use one of our e-bikes!
Who’s the best at minigolf?
Try your hand at minigolf – there’s a course just around the corner from us. Who will get the ball into the last hole first? It’s going to be a family hit!
